Online Identification

Livschits Violins offers an online identification service. This express 
assessment is preliminary and can not be considered final before the
 instrument is physically inspected.

To Identify Your Instrument Please Provide Following Information:

Any previous certificate, past valuation or appraisal information can help in identifying your instrument.

Look through the f-hole to check whether your instrument has an inner label. If it has, please provide us with details of the text. Photograph this label if you can.

Measure your instrument according to the instructions below to help us identify it.

For bow identification please provide its weight.

Photograph the Instrument

Photograph the instrument in front of a neutral coloured background, trying to avoid 
any reflection. Center camera lens in the middle area of the instrument. Photos should be 
focused, close up and well lit without flash.

Valuation and Certification

Livschits Violins provides instrument valuation service for insurance,as well as assessing the market value of the instrument. The assessment needs your personal presence and physical inspection of the instrument. One more important service is a certification. In cooperation with world leading experts, we can help you to obtain internationally recognized and universally accepted certificate of authenticity for your instrument.

Livschits Violins takes on the registration of Musical Instrument Passports and Bow Passports for Travelling Abroad.
